Thermostatic Mixing Valves

Protection against scalding

  • Valve for blending hot water with cold water to deliver water at a constant pre-selected temperature for safe showers.
  • In applications where water is stored at high temperatures to remove Legionella, TMVs are required to provide constant bath outlet temperatures to prevent scalding.
  • Anti-scald Safety Function – During cold water supply failure at inlet, valve shuts off hot water flow, during hot water supply failure at inlet, valve shuts off mixed water outlet
