2/2 Way Solenoid Valve
2/2 (two port two position) way solenoid valves are normally used for simple on/off applications and they are either in a 'normally close' or 'normally open' position in the de-engerized state. The normally close solenoid valve operates when its coil is electrically energized to create a magnetic field which pulls a linear plunger up to open the valve. When de-energized, a spring pushes the plunger back down onto the seat to close.
